This exhibition rebuts, re-examines and rejects inequities and exemplifies the goals of global humanism and social justice. It is co-curated by Professor Thalia Vrachopoulos, Art Historian-critic from JohnJohn Jay College of Criminal Justice, New York, and Professor Harry Savopoulos, Art Critic, School of Fine Arts of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki.
Zoe Vassiliou, my one and only daughter, wins a Gold Key Scholastic Art Award for her image "This Kiss". In the past, these awards have recognized some of America's most celebrated artists including Andy Warhol, Philip Pearlstein, Richard Avedon, Cy Twombly, John Baldessari ... The awarded entries from 2017 will be displayed at the Metropolitan Museum of Art!!! Opening reception Friday March 24th 6-8PM. On view through May 29th. Congratulations Zoe!
